“Summer sun, something’s begun, but uh-oh those summer nights(…)” never helped anyone to concentrate, one’s mind only tends to drift away on sunny beaches, turquoise waters and beats of congos and caribbean calypsos.
Jesse Kanda’s aka Friend’s “doki”, a blend of tropical-chinese bliss, it’s the perfect soundtrack for the above scenario.
“Black keys” sounds like the Cocteau Twins stranded in an exotic island writing music after a ship wreck.
